We just returned from a week long visit to paradise (or, Our New Home). Some photos:
Here it is, our house!
Ok, not really. This is actually our house, but the first picture is what used to be a kitchen. now it is there to remind us that we're still in Africa.
This is the back of the house. Notice the 4 mango trees. we also have two banana trees, an avacado tree and a citrus tree.
the view from our front porch. the house feels pretty secluded, although we have neighbors a few hundred yards away.
this is the path from our house to the main road. its about a 3 minute walk. our closest neighbor's house is on the right.
our two new dogs. Zuma on the left and Barbu on the right. they saved us from a snake one day.
zuma getting comfortable in the living room.
we are also inheriting a cat, Mambo (no photo of her, but she looks like the middle kitten). these are her three kittens with the mouse that she brought in for them. Mambo has given birth 7 times in the past two years, so we're in for LOTS of kittens. these three are 3 weeks old, so in february or march we should have a new batch.

hi guys! your new homestead looks amazing.
and all those animals come with place? awesome! any chance of obtaining a goat as well? im sure you could get one that's a little bit quieter on its hooves.
be well :)
