Today is our last day in Yaounde and we're about to board a train that will take us up north to a town outside of Garoua. Actually the train will take us to another city and then we'll have to drive for another 5 hours (after the 16 hours in the train). We're moving in with ouir families as soon as we get there, which should prove to be interesting. The language in the North is Fulfulde, which we know none of.
We got sheets that have some information about our families: 8 children, 11 people in the house. Mother is a dress maker and father is a shop keeper. So excited about the dressmaker. Brian and I will be the most fashionable volunteers around!!
Hopefully in the North the internet will be more available/we'll have more time for it. I was the first one to the computers this time, but there are 30 of us, so I have to keep it short.
